Fees

There is a 0.5% or 50 basis point fee applied on all buying and selling. Except when exchanging wBERA for BERA and vice versa. No fees are applied on these wBERA <-> BERA transactions.

The Basdaq earns 80% of this fee or 40 basis points, while Ooga Booga earns 20% or 10 basis points. This is applied to all transactions. This is believed to be an acceptable fee to pay for the information and execution edge that users have on the Basdaq.

Transactions are routed through Ooga Booga and the fees that Ooga Booga charge on outperforming BEX and Kodiak will apply when relevant. See an explanation of Ooga Booga's fee structure here.

Ooga Booga's explanation discusses how users will still receive an 81 basis point benefit if Ooga Booga does apply a fee. So if Ooga Booga charges a fee atop of Gummi's flat fee, then the execution will still have be at least 31 basis points stronger.

There are no additional gas fees other than what Berachain originally charges.
