The Trade Page

Buying and Selling on the Basdaq is intended to be as simple a process as possible. Once you have an asset in mind (see ) navigate to its page to see more information. Pl

In this example we will be purchasing Henlo. Pictured below is the page that appears when Henlo is selected. Though I have expanded the chart to see the token's entire history.

This page presents you with information on the token. The chart is highly customizable and can go down to one second intervals. You can see basic information in the upper right hand side of the page while in the bottom left you may select between viewing your own holdings, recent transactions or the token holders.

We believe that these various pieces of information are presented clearly and in line with general practice. Therefore this tutorial will not go further into them all. Please ignore the fact that this is the documentation equivalent of saying "and the rest of the proof is trivial".

How to Buy

Buying and selling can be done easily from the UI to the lower right side of the chart. Pictured below.

Below you can see that I have selected a preset to purchase one BERA of Henlo. Simply pressing 'Quick Buy' will execute the transaction and purchase one BERA worth of Henlo. Simple as that.

How to Sell

Now that I have made profit on my Henlo and I wish to exit my position; selling is simple. Select the 'Sell' button and the sell UI will appear.

Quick sells are by default denominated using a percentage of the overall position. However, you can choose to input an exact token amount to sell by clicking the '%' sign and selecting the alternative in the dropdown that appears.

Regardless, once you have selected an amount of tokens to sell, you will need to approve the token spend.

Approvals remain a necessary part of the procedure for selling tokens at the moment. If you wish to quickly sell tokens without the extra approval step, it is recommended to approve the token spend of 100% of your tokens immediately after purchasing so you may then later execute an immediate sell.

Approving the spend of 100% of your token will make a maximum approval and any future sells of any amount will not require future approval.

Regardless of how you make your approval, now that the tokens have been approved instead of reading 'Approve token spend' the same button will now read 'Quick Sell'. Simply click and your sell will be initiated.

This UI allows you to either select a preset or enter a custom amount. Both options are denominated in BERA. These preset options can be adjusted to different values on .

Click the icon below your balance of BERA to access settings like Slippage Tolerance and Max priority fee. This will pull up a settings menu pictured below. These settings will be applied globally and more details can be found on .

You have now sold your token for Bera. If you wish to withdraw the BERA you've earned, see of the documentation.
